Because of the quality of the educational programs offered at NCC, the institution has received accreditation from specialized organizations including the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE), the Oregon State Teachers Standards and Practices Commission, and more. Two programs with specialized accreditation are offered in the hybrid (partially online) format to distance learners as well.

Online Learning at Northwest Christian University

To make earning a degree easier for students, Northwest Christian University has designed a handful of courses to be available through online learning. Although complete degree programs are not available at this time, students can complete the majority of their degree through distance learning, increasing the flexibility of the schedule. Courses not offered online for the degree program are typically offered in the evenings, so working professionals can maintain their jobs and education simultaneously.

The adult degree programs offered by Northwest Christian University are available in the hybrid format in five subject areas. In the business department, students can earn a bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration; in arts and sciences, students can focus on psychology or interdisciplinary studies; and in education, students may obtain a teacher education degree in the hybrid format. These programs can be customized with online course work to the degree each student desires.
